I am children’s book author passionate about creating imaginative and meaningful stories that support young readers as they grow in confidence, empathy, and literacy.
I intentionally weave creativity and imagination into my books to open real conversations and help young readers see themselves as capable, curious, and courageous.
My goal is not only to tell engaging stories, but to provide families and educators with tools that help children grow into lifelong readers and compassionate thinkers.
I live in Raleigh, North Carolina, with my husband and our two boys, who inspire me every day and remind me of the powerful role imagination plays in helping children learn, grow, and dream big.
